16. Lorain Light

The first of our Great Lakes lighthouse tours, we first visited Lorain in light rain. It is a lovely historic structure. The town of Lorain loves this lighthouse and considers it an icon of the community. In 2000, we were ignorant of the fact that the nearby Lorain East Pierhead Light (#223) was indeed a lighthouse.
