Turkey Point Lighthouse, Northeast, MD - spring 2001

Elk Neck State Park could be considered one of the unsung jewels of the Maryland state parks system. The easy 1-mile walk to Turkey Point Lighthouse parallels a series of 100' cliffs that dive right into the Chesapeake. Constructed by John Donohoo, the same man who built Concord Point (#37); they look very similar.
