Some folks would question if this is a legitimate lighthouse. It serves as a water tank for the Castle Marina community near Kent Narrows, and with its flashing beacon serving local mariners, one could definitely argue that it is a lighthouse. Visible from US 50 exit 39 on Kent Island.
